What types of finance can Settled With Joe arrange?
Both commercial and personal. On the commercial side that covers business loans, working capital, invoice finance, ATO and tax debt finance, equipment and asset finance, commercial property, construction and development, bridging, caveat loans, business acquisition, and SMSF lending. On the personal side it covers home loans, car and vehicle finance, personal loans, debt consolidation, renovation finance, equity release, and a range of life-event lending. We work across a panel of 90+ bank, non-bank, and specialist lenders.
Can you help if I am self-employed?
Yes, and it is one of the most common situations we handle. Self-employed income is real but rarely presents as two years of clean payslips, and lenders treat it very differently from one another. Alongside full-doc lending (assessed on tax returns) we work with low-doc or alt-doc options, assessed on BAS, business bank statements, or an accountant's letter instead. Joseph Farhat and his team will match what you can actually produce to lenders whose policy accepts it.
Do you work with borrowers with bad credit?
Yes, we do. Defaults, arrears, or a thin credit file do not rule you out, and it is not something we will make you feel awkward about. A default is simply a missed or late payment that a lender has recorded on your credit file. Several lenders on our panel weigh your current position more heavily than your credit history and will price for the risk rather than decline it. Telling us early lets us approach the right lender first instead of adding enquiries to your file.
How quickly can finance be arranged?
It depends entirely on the product. Short-term facilities such as caveat loans and unsecured business or personal lending can often fund within 2 business days. Property-secured lending takes longer because a valuation is required, commonly two to six weeks. Construction and development finance runs to the project timeline. If you are working to a deadline, say so at the first conversation and Joseph Farhat and his team will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
Do you help with finance outside Sydney?
Yes. Settled With Joe is based in Sydney and arranges finance Australia-wide, across both metro and regional areas, including Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra as well as regional centres such as Newcastle, Wollongong, Geelong, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba. Most of the process happens by phone and email, so you do not need to be in Sydney to work with us.
Do you give financial advice?
No. We do not guide you on your finances, nor give financial advice. We focus on outcomes and solutions of presenting your unique scenario to the right lender so you can access funding in a timely and compliant manner.
