Finance for Cafes, Restaurants and Bars
Fit-outs, cash flow, wages and venue purchases funded for cafe, restaurant and bar owners.

How lenders look at a hospitality business
Takings move with the weather, school holidays and the season. Rent, suppliers and a payroll full of casual staff do not. Lenders who fund venues know that, so they look at your card terminal and bank statement data to see the real trading pattern, including the quiet months.
They also look closely at the lease, because it keeps the venue trading: how many years remain, any option to renew, and whether rent is up to date. A repayment has to fit in your slowest month, not only your average one. Joseph Farhat and his team work through those figures with you, match the venue to lenders across our panel of 90+ bank, non-bank, and specialist lenders, and manage the application around your service hours.
What venue owners most often bring to us
Fitting out a new venue or refurbishing
A kitchen, bar, cool room, seating and services can all be due before opening night. Fit-out finance pays the builder's progress claims in stages, with the equipment included, so the venue opens when the lease requires rent to start.
Fit-out financeA buffer for the quieter months
An overdraft limit on your business account can be drawn for stock, rent or a slow fortnight and repaid when trade picks up. Setting it up before the quiet period gives lenders a clearer view of your trading.
Business overdraftWages and super when takings dip
Staff are paid on a fixed day, and since 1 July 2026 super has to be paid with each pay run. Payroll gap finance covers wages, PAYG withholding (the tax taken from wages) and super for a short period, so pay goes out on time during a slow stretch.
Payroll gap financeTax and super that have fallen behind
When PAYG withholding, super or GST have built up, some lenders will pay the ATO balance and let you repay over a set term. Your accountant confirms the amounts first. If the business may not be able to pay its debts, an accountant or registered insolvency practitioner comes before any loan.
